Fountain Lake is OPEN to public use. Please use caution and common sense when boating or water skiing. Be aware of debris that may be in the water. Submerged debris is common in the spring. USE CAUTION!

There are 20 lakes in Freeborn County, Minnesota. The Freeborn County Water Patrol is responsible for the safety and regulation of all lakes.

The purpose of this site is to provide up-to-date information to help you enjoy the waterways of Albert Lea. From here, you can access information about the Water Patrol, find out about rules and regulations on various lakes, including Fountain Lake & Albert Lea Lake.
